The Dangers Of Snacking

A new study has revealed that most of us eat and drink while we drive - but it doubles the chances of us having a crash.

People have been prosecuted for eating while behind the wheel and fatal accidents have been blamed on snacking, but no direct legislation to ban it currently exists.

The Highway Code tells drivers: "Avoid distractions such as loud music, trying to read maps, inserting a cassette or CD, arguing with your passengers or other road users and eating or drinking."

Do you eat or drink while you drive? How careful are you? Should there be a law against it? Should you avoid other things while driving such as listening to your radio? Or is this just a fuss over nothing?
